Then it froze, again!
I’ve cut a hole in the ice on the lake to see how thick it is.
It’s 27 to 28cm thick (11 inches imperial) at about the 8m line.
Ice fishing anyone????

Wow indeed Craig.
There’s a lot of snow around but the stuff round the house is mainly due to wind and drifts.

Hiya Marin and welcome.
We have a great scene here with regard to the match fishing etc. and have met some really nice people. Most, if not all, have become good friends of ours whether they be Brit or Bulgarian. The only grumpy bugger here is normally me!
A charity match is a great idea and we’d be more than pleased to host such an event. The best guys to contact for that would be Rado and Vlado who have both posted on here somewhere.
Our matches are held on most Sundays, weather permitting so if you’re in the area on a nice Sunday, come along and meet the guys.

Hello,
nice to find you here and also that you are working on getting the UK guys familiar with fishing in Bulgaria.
